The Hueca Fest Gastronomic Festival will take place from August 8 to 11 at Bicentennial Park, with an entrance fee of $3.
From August 8 to 11, Bicentennial Park will host the third edition of the Hueca Fest Gastronomic Festival, an event celebrating the rich culinary tradition of all regions of Ecuador.
Wilmer Morales, president of the Gastronomic and Huecas Association of Ecuador, highlighted the festival’s growth in recent years. “In 2022, the event welcomed 20,000 people, in 2023, 30,000, and in 2024, we aim to attract 40,000 visitors,” said Morales. He also noted that the festival generates an economic impact of approximately $1 million, significantly benefiting the local economy.
The festival will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering the chance to taste a variety of traditional dishes starting at $7. The event entrance will cost $3, allowing attendees to enjoy a wide range of flavors and gastronomic experiences in a festive and cultural atmosphere.
