International Eucharistic Congress Accepting Registrations

The registration period for the Theological Symposium and the 53rd International Eucharistic Congress, scheduled to take place in Quito in September, remains open until August 15. This was explained by Paul Lamiña, Technical Secretary of the IEC 2024, during his appearance on the “En Camino” program on Radio María Ecuador, on Monday, July 22.
During the discussion, Paul Lamiña noted that several delegations from around the world have already registered, and a large turnout is expected for this gathering of the Universal Church.

Registration to experience fraternity and the Eucharist
According to what was said, the registration process is easy. The person interested in participating, whether in the Theological Symposium or the International Eucharistic Congress, simply needs to complete the formulario en línea available on the official IEC 2024 website. (www.iec2024.ec) with their personal details, such as first and last names, country of origin, activity they are registering for, among others.
It was also explained that once the interested person formalizes their registration, they will be allowed to enter IEC 2024 and participate in the various activities planned for the 53rd International Eucharistic Congress, including lectures, testimonies, formations, and discussions.
Additionally, registration will grant participation in the Eucharists celebrated in the historic churches of Quito’s Historic Center in various languages, as well as in the opening and closing Eucharists.
Those who register for IEC 2024 will receive a kit with Congress materials and will have access to digital content after the Congress, as well as access to the IEC 2024 mobile app, through which they can review the educational and promotional material of the Congress.
What the registration does not include
Paul Lamiña added that the registration fee does not cover accommodation, meals, or transportation.
